Walk & Talk Therapy
Walk and Talk Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that incorporates walking while addressing therapeutic goals and topics. While connecting to their therapist via telephone and in some instances, video, clients walk on paved roads and paths or while exploring open spaces.
The focus of the experience is therapy, not exercise.
Walk and Talk Therapy is not appropriate for every client or session. There are considerations to be mindful of prior to engaging in Walk and Talk Therapy including accidental injuring, physical dangers, adverse weather conditions, confidentiality issues, and privacy issues.
If Walk and Talk Therapy is something that you are interested in, please reach out to see how this may be incorporated into your treatment plan.
